- End-to-end encryption
- No storage of messages on the server
- No use of user data

With Converso Your Conversations Belong To You
We believe nobody should be able to exploit your data or your conversations, period. Our unique features and business model are based upon this fundamentally stronger definition of privacy. Converso is privacy by default.

Privacy Isn't Optional
End-to-end encryption and no storage of messages on the server, ensures your conversations are kept private and secure. Meaning, we can’t read your messages or listen to your calls, and no one else can either. To us, privacy isn’t optional—it’s a sacred thing and something we’re here to take back.
Speak Freely With Converso
Share texts, GIFs, videos and images, and make crystal-clear voice and video calls to people who live across town or across the ocean, with no-long distance charges. Converso uses your phone’s data connection so you can avoid both SMS and MMS fees.

Built-In Screenshot Protection
Screenshot Protect™ prevents any member in a chat from screenshotting messages. When enabled, each message along with the contact(s) name will be blurred out when a screenshot is attempted. Now you can be sure everything you send within Converso, stays within Converso.

1) Telegram: end-to-end encryption can be optionally enabled in single chats, but this feature is disabled by default and neither available in group chats nor compatible with parallel use of the service on multiple devices.
2) WhatsApp generates unencrypted chat backups in Google cloud or iCloud.
3) Telegram: By default, all messages are permanently stored on the server and could, in theory, be read by the service provider, the only exception being end-to-end encrypted single chats.
4) According to WhatsApp’s privacy policy, “As part of the Facebook Companies, WhatsApp receives information from, and shares information […] with, the other Facebook Companies. […] This includes […] showing relevant offers and ads across the Facebook Company Products.”
